Roles and Responsibilities of Area Sales Manager
1. The main job of an Area Sales Manager (ASM) is to plan, strategize and implement the sales programs in a particular region.
2. He or She also organizes a team of highly competent individuals who does the field sales along with ASM
3. Developing a sales plan and achieving the targets is the fundamental job of an ASM.
4. ASM need to constantly analyze the market, the consumption capacity of the consumers and project the expected return.
5. Meet the sales projected target for the region.
6. Hire Sales Officers for the region
7. Train the sales officers for the region
8. Ensure the sales officers are meeting the sales targets.
9. Collection of sales money from retailers and wholesalers for Cash on Delivery Orders
10. Collection of money from wholesalers and retailers for Trade Credit
11. Managing and Reporting Daily, Weekly and Monthly Sales Reports
12. Managing and Reporting Daily, Weekly and Monthly COD Collection Report
13. Managing and Reporting Daily, Weekly and Monthly Trade Credit Report.
14. Ensure ZERO Loss to Company
15. Work with Dispute Resolution Team to Ensure ZERO Dispute on Orders
16. Maintain and Manage less than 5% Return and Refund
17. Work with the Supply Team to Ensure Delivery of Goods
18. Work with Regional Managers to Ensure Seamless Services to the company and to Retailers and Wholesalers.
