Role
- Take ownership of our content strategy and help us transform our blog from an average to a world-class travel publication.
- Create and edit content for in-house blogs and website
- Writing blogs on a regular basis, increasing frequency of posts on the Snapmint blog. Content sourcing would also be expected from the writer.
- Write email and SMS content
- Optimizing content for SEO and lead generation.
- Content spinning. Existing articles/blogs need to be repurposed for other publications.
- Performing hygiene checks/editing on reports and marketing collateral.
- Play an active role in internal marketing and content
- Create social media copies and handle ORM (online reputation management) on social
- Write and edit articles, posts, infographics, etc.
- Create a fresh experience for users to consume Fintech content
- Work closely with the marketing managers on content development for marketing activities
- Create content calendars and execute plan for the same for the month
- Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics
- Review and update published content as needed
Requirements
- Ability to pay acute attention to details (you- ve already found a typo in this posting)
- Basic understanding of SEO
- 2 - 4 years of experience with proven records in content creation
- Eye for Grammar, Clarity, Accuracy and Creative writing
- Must have excellent command over Proof Reading and web content writing
- Excellent Researching and Conceptualization Skill
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as cross-functional teams
- Can manage editorial schedules and work within deadlines
Education: Any Bachelors degree (bachelors in English, Journalism or related communication field is a plus)
