SocialCops - Associate - Business Development (2-5 yrs)
TL;DR - We're looking for an awesome Business Development Associate to take a new cutting edge product to market and enable pioneering organizations in their quest towards data intelligence!

- We are hiring a Business Development Associate for the external data product at SocialCops.
- We've built a granular external data repository that brings together data from 600+ unique sources and makes it available at 1 sq. km grids for the entire world. Organizations like Unilever, Godrej, WPP and others use this to drive decisions like new product launches, trigger-based marketing campaigns, open new stores and many more.
- We- re looking for someone who can help make SocialCops the choice external data partner across the world. You will be the face of our product to topmost decision-makers across FMCG, durables, telecom, and other industries; run targeted sales campaign to generate new prospects; handle inbound sales enquiries; effectively communicate our product's value; and keep the sales funnel running like a well-oiled machine.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Own prospecting, lead generation, sales qualification & initial customer calls to ensure the team meets annual revenue targets
- Undertake market research to identify new and potential sectors, organizations, and functions for the product
- Run targeted outbound campaigns to generate new leads across different sectors, functions, and geographies.
- Manage the complete inbound sales funnel, talk to prospects, understand their requirements and qualify them
- Create relevant content (email, decks, white papers, ads) to attract new leads and nurture existing leads
- Monitor daily sales metrics, prepare reports and support business team with regular data
REQUIREMENTS :
- 1+ year of experience in a sales or business development role in a SaaS / business intelligence / consulting organization is preferred.
- Previous experience in managing an end-to-end sales funnel; MQLs, SQLs, and ARR aren- t just buzzwords to you.
- Strong understanding of the application of data and the decision-making process in large enterprises.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to break down a prospect's requirements and effectively communicate it internally to other teams.
- Ability to think on your feet - you- re someone who can figure out creative ways to keep the sales funnel always ripe with new prospects.
-You are ruthlessly data-driven, measuring every step of the sales process and can figure out ways to scale it to the next level.
