Social Media Specialist (4-6 yrs)
About the Role:
You will manage social media handles - LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok. You will be responsible for creating the social media calendar, creating captivating and industry-relevant content and designs (using platforms such as Canva, Figma, etc) and providing briefs on the creatives to be designed for them (not limited to static). You will be monitoring user engagement and analysing feedback daily
- Managing the social media platforms
- Scheduling social media posts using a tool
- Researching the best social media listening and scheduling tools
- Engaging followers
- Monitoring social media metrics
- Analyzing and executing social media trends, wherever applicable for the brand
- Moment marketing across social media platforms (whenever relevant for the brand)
- Fortnightly reporting of social media engagement and activities
Coordinating with the designer to get the job done and designing images on Canva/Figma when essential
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media efforts and goals
- Planning the social media calendar post discussions with relevant stakeholders
Skills required
- 2-3 years working on social media execution for B2B/B2C brands
- 2 years of experience with Instagram and LinkedIn as a social media platform
- Understanding the nuances and differences of each platform
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - non-negotiable in a remote work environment
- Keenness to learn about new platforms and experiment with different platforms and tools
- An ability to train team members on the why, how, what and when of social media
- An understanding of numbers and a focus on improving engagement
- A visual acumen
