Role Definition
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for delivering the services promised to the clients and keeping them happy.
Responsibility Deliverable :
1) Content ideation, creation & execution
2) Overlook the growth of the client pages while meeting KPI's
3) Maintain client relationship to keep the clients happy
4) Develop skills and knowledge to grow into a Social Media Strategist
Tasks & Activities :
Content ideation, creation & execution :
- Attend and contribute during brainstorming sessions for content, campaigns & contests
- Work with the Jr. SMS to create content calendars and content plans to create unique and engaging content for assigned social media accounts
- Communicate with design and production team to execute concepts
- Assist the production team during shoots
- Proofread, quality check and ensure that all the creatives are as per the quality standards of the company and brand guidelines set for the client
- Use Trello for content requests and corrections for inter team communication and workflow
- Overlook and assist Jr SMS while handling ORM for assigned clients
- Approve all stories and reels that go up on the client accounts
- In charge of executing all activities, campaigns, and contents for assigned clients
Overlook the growth of the client pages while meeting KPI's
- Ensure client's social media accounts as maintained as per company process
- Research on assigned clients target audience and ensure the content is created in alignment
- Ensure that posts go up on the assigned pages as per schedule
- Approve weekly & monthly reports and analyze the social media pages for scope of improvement
- Set, fill in and meet weekly and monthly KPI's and benchmarks for assigned clients
- Ensure content is sent to clients for approval on the assigned days
- Identify influencer collaboration opportunities and facilitate communication with influencers
- Prepare reports and analysis on campaigns, contests and other activities
Maintain client relationship to keep the clients happy :
- In charge of representing Alter Social to assigned clients
- Have weekly calls with the client to get information regarding their business activities and give updates on progress of the page
- Have monthly meetings with clients to discuss the plan for next month and give a report and analysis of the past month's performance
- Pitch to client ideas on online and integrated social media campaigns, contests, collaboration and other activities
- Identify marketing opportunities for the assigned clients and communicate the same to them after consulting with seniors.
Developing skills and knowledge to be a social media strategist :
- Assist the Social Media Strategist in building social media positioning for the client
- Set up systems and process to effectively execute social media campaigns, contest, collaborations, etc. and get it approved from the strategist
- Assist Social Media Strategist in preparing pitches for new clients
- Read suggested books, complete required courses and attend relevant workshops
- Be updated with the latest functions and limitations of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
