Title : Social Media Marketing Specialist
Location : Bangalore (WFO)
Job Responsibilities :
1. Define the most important social media KPIs
2. Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy & content distribution plan, ensuring strong communication that can flex to fit any platform, media, character count or audience, with the right brand voice
3. Create and manage social media calendar, social media content and ad copy content that is creative and stands out
4. Incorporate Social Listening and implement strategies
5. You should strive to increase the follower growth rate over time through strategic content planning, audience targeting, and analysis of post-performance
6. Analyze social media performance metrics (e.g. engagement rate, follower growth rate, click-through rate) and use data to optimize strategies and content.
7. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
8. Attend educational conferences
9. Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
10. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
11. Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
12. Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
Requirements and Qualifications :
1. At Least 3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
2. Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
3. Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
4. Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
a) Follower growth rate: Achieved a minimum of 10% growth in social media followers each quarter.
b) Engagement rate: Maintained a minimum of 5% engagement rate across all social media platforms.
c) Click-through rate: Achieved a minimum of 2% click-through rate on social media posts containing a call-to- action (CTA).
5. Graduate degree in Marketing or a relevant field
6. Familiarity with web design and publishing
7. Excellent multitasking skills

9. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
10. Team player
