Social Media & Content Manager - Internet/Online (2-8 yrs)
Client is seeking a full-time Social Media and Content Manager to oversee the company's social media strategy in order to drive awareness, traffic, engagement and conversion, along with a robust content strategy for blog and website. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated passion for fashion, ability to write engaging content and a true love for social media.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the content calendar for social media channels, blog and website.
- Oversee and execute social media strategies, guidelines, best practices, promotional campaigns and day-to-day activities. Ensure that the social media content calendar includes the right balance of original brand content plus user-generated content.
- Engage in daily ongoing, 2 way proactive conversations with followers in a social media friendly voice, as well as respond to questions, with speed and sound judgement. Escalate questions/issues to consumer communications and/or legal as needed.
- Analyze effective benchmarks for measuring impact of social media efforts in order to determine campaign effectiveness through relevant monitoring tools (ROI) Monitoring and reporting on performance on social media platforms
- Create and manage blogger outreach program by identifying relevant blogs and engage in social conversations to provide reach for key launches, promotions and viral marketing efforts
- Liaise with PR agency to create and execute a strategy to activate influencers, bloggers, celebs for Numero Uno
- Stay abreast of key industry trends, competitive insights and emerging social media / marketing / e-commerce technologies.
- Write engaging content for blogs, social copy and website.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience in fashion/retail/ecommerce industry.
- Experience in writing content. Good knowledge of SEO/SEM
- Comfortable taking a design from brief to concept to polished deliverable
- Skill and ability in typography, data visualization, brand and logo design
- Experience in Online Reputation Management (ORM)
- Experience in Facebook Ads, facebook business manager.
- Preferred to have (not mandatory) Adobe Creative Suite skills including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
- 2-4 years experience working in a content or storytelling creative role.
