Smytten - Intern - Business Development (0-3 yrs)
In this role, you will identify potential high-end brands or premium service providers to partner with Smytten and build a pipeline of opportunities based on existing/new contacts. You will be required to meet sales and marketing professionals of premium/luxury brands and close the partnership deals to have them on Smytten platform. You will also be responsible for structuring right proposals including commercials, business targets, requirements, incentive structure, legal and operational implications for every partnership deal.
Responsibilities:
- Play a critical role in building strategy and business plans for aggressive partner acquisition, helping Smytten become a leader in the luxury/premium space in India.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams within Smytten to grow partnerships by bringing in innovation in marketing, communication and sales plans.
- Manage the relationship with certains key partners including joint business plans, promotion and activation calendar.
- Negotiate agreements with strategic partners to maximize the efficiency and commercial profitability for Smytten and see it through final sign off
Skill Sets Required:
- Should have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Should be a self-starter, with - out of the box- and strategic thinking ability
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills and a good team player
- Should be able to juggle between multiple work streams and lots of ambiguity
- Deliver results with minimal supervision
