Job Description for the role of MARKETING LEAD
- We seek to hire a talented 'Marketing Lead', who will be responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build Smartserv's brand, leading to increased awareness, interactivity & responsiveness among our target audience.
- We are looking for a start-up leader with strategic, creative, and financial acumen as well as a strong business intellect to take Smartserv's growth to the next level. The ideal candidate would be more than open to getting his/her hands dirty doing - groundwork- with a singular focus to obtain measurable and improved results.
Required Experience : 3+ years
You'd need to be awesome at :
- Understanding SmartServ's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and the landscape of the SaaS Industry to building the marketing engine from scratch.
- Knows and can leverage SEO, SEM, Email Marketing and similar Digital marketing strategies.
- Pioneering and implementing measurable strategies to drive hard revenue goals and increase awareness globally.
- Has a good amount of hands-on experience with using paid campaigns as a source of generating leads.
- Identifying and optimizing the right marketing channel to focus on with respect to Smartserv's ICP.
- Strategies for increasing the top of the funnel traffic and then later develop conversion strategy for each stage in the funnel.
- Make the connection with the sales and marketing team more streamlined.
- Refining Smartserv's segmentation strategy and developing a marketing plan that reaches target segments quickly and effectively.
- Owning & evolving Smartserv's brand assets including website, content generation, product collaterals & creatives, customer success stories and more.
- Driving engagement & relationships with key industry stakeholders, blogging community, journalists & PR firms.
- Being an awesome curator & presenter of the content on a variety of channels (Social Media/Blog/SlideShare/YouTube/Events etc.)

- Willing to get your hands dirty.
- Worked with early-stage start-ups or SaaS companies in the past.
