Smart Joules - Lead - Digital Marketing (5-7 yrs)
We, at Smart Joules, are looking for an experienced and creative Digital Marketing Lead to lead our digital marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, a passion for sustainability, and a track record of achieving results. In this role, you will shape our brand's online presence, engage our target audience, and oversee digital customer experience journey.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Customer Experience : Take ownership of the entire digital customer experience journey and oversee a roadmap including but not limited to all touchpoints (website, blogs, emails, and social media) to ensure brand salience and relevance
2. Digital Strategy Development : Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with Smart Joules' goals and mission. This includes defining target audiences, setting clear objectives, and selecting the most effective digital channels and tactics
3. Social Media Management : Build and maintain a strong presence on social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase engagement, followership, and brand awareness
4. SEO and SEM : Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) and manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns (SEM) to drive organic and paid traffic. Monitor and analyze keyword performance and adjust strategies accordingly
5. Email Marketing : Oversee customer journeys and develop & execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing. Monitor email campaign performance and continually refine strategies to improve results
6. Analytics and Reporting : Directly responsible for increasing traffic, conversion, and ROI across all digital acquisition channels, including paid search, SEO, remarketing, display, email, and social media. Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management to guide decision-making
Ideal Candidature -
1. Proven experience (6 to 7 years) in digital marketing, with a focus on strategy development and execution and a proven track record of managing the brand's end-to-end digital customer experience
2. Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing
3. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, email marketing software)
4. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
5. As a startup, last-minute surprises are unavoidable. Must have the ability to adapt to the needs of the moment and think on their feet
