Skill-Lync - Content Writer (2-6 yrs)
Skill-Lync is an exhaustive platform to re-engineer engineering education. The last 2 decades have seen an increasing disconnect between industry and academia - this has resulted in academia not meeting industry standards and thereby students becoming unemployable. Skill-Lync is a Y-Combinator (2019) start-up that is solving this problem at scale leveraging technology and an ecosystem of industry experts, engineer-trainers, and offline centers.
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Produce well-researched content for marketing and Sales team.
2. Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines.
3. Regularly produce various content types, including sales pitches, email, social media posts, blogs and articles.
4. Ensure timely delivery of materials.
5. Edit content produced by other members of the team, Analyze content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed.
6. Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas.
Requirements :
1. Proven record of excellent writing showed in a professional portfolio, Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.
2. Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
4. Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
5. Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
6. Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
