- As a telemarketer or a call center representative, is responsible for making outbound calls or answering incoming calls to potential or existing customers. The main job responsibilities of a tele caller include:
- Making outbound calls to customers : A tele caller is responsible for making calls to potential customers to promote a product or service. They also make calls to existing customers to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services.
- Answering incoming calls : Tele callers also answer incoming calls from customers who have inquiries or concerns about products or services. They provide information about products or services, resolve customer complaints or direct calls to the appropriate department.
- Maintaining customer database : Tele callers update and maintain customer information in a database. They ensure that customer information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Achieving sales targets : Tele callers are responsible for achieving their sales targets. They must be able to convince customers to purchase products or services.
- Providing excellent customer service : Tele callers must provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. They must be able to listen actively to customer inquiries and concerns, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Following-up on leads : Tele callers follow-up on leads generated from marketing campaigns or referrals. They must be able to qualify leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.
- Recording call logs : Tele callers are responsible for recording call logs and maintaining call records for quality assurance purposes.
- Working in a team : Tele callers must be able to work in a team environment and collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals.
- Requirements for the role of tele caller may vary depending on the organization.
