Simform - Business Development Manager/Specialist (2-6 yrs)
Job Description:
As a Business Development representative for Simform, your responsibilities will include building and drive the strategy to increase adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts across the USA to build long-term business and marketing opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess a business development/sales background that enables them to engage at all levels of a customer and partner organisation, including C-levels of the business and IT.
He/She will also demonstrate a strong technical competency focused on the IT landscape and cloud computing. He/she should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan business objective
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key companies at the C-levels of Business & IT
- Identify business opportunities through prospecting and evaluating companies across industry verticals
- Research and analyse various sales options for each prospect
- Sell technology solutions/ services by establishing contact and developing relationships with the prospect
- Maintain profitable client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance on an ongoing basis
- Work closely with client to identify and recommend better/ upgraded solutions to enhance business value
- Spot new opportunities within the active client accounts and quickly act to propose a technology solution or service improvement that is quickly implementable
- Achieve the sales targets defined from time to time across all technology solutions and services
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirement
- The right person will possess 3-5 years of experience in IT sales
- Proven capability to building relationships with CIO/VP/Director-level client contacts
- Excellent in-person presentation skills
- Background in relationship-building and contract negotiations
- Demonstrated ability to independently build a large pipeline of outbound leads, pursue and close
- Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience with selling consulting and IT services/solutions for an established IT consulting firm
- Strong business acumen and understanding of industry specific business drivers
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Would have consistently exceeded key performance metrics.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree required. Preferably Engineer / MBA
- A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
