Job Overview :

The E-Commerce Sales Manager is responsible for driving online sales and maximizing revenue through e-commerce platforms. This role involves managing and optimizing the company's e-commerce site, developing sales strategies, and overseeing digital marketing campaigns to ensure the achievement of sales targets. The E-Commerce Sales Manager works closely with various departments including Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to enhance the overall online customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy & Planning :

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve e-commerce sales targets.

- Monitor sales performance and analyze trends to adjust strategies accordingly.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional plans and campaigns that drive online traffic and sales.

E-Commerce Platform Management :

- Oversee the daily operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth functionality.

- Manage product listings, pricing strategies, and inventory levels to maximize sales.

- Work with the IT and web development teams to ensure the website is optimized for user experience and search engines (SEO).

Digital Marketing :

- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising.

- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and ROI, adjusting strategies as needed.

- Coordinate with external partners, such as digital marketing agencies, for additional support.

Customer Experience :

- Ensure a seamless and positive online shopping experience for customers.

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, working to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

- Analyze customer feedback and behavior to identify areas for improvement in the e-commerce process.

Reporting & Analysis :

- Generate regular reports on e-commerce sales performance, customer behavior, and website analytics.

- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.

- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.

Team Management :

- Lead and mentor the e-commerce sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.

- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and address any challenges.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.

- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce sales or digital marketing, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Skills :

- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).

- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.

- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
