Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting sales operations within the industrial sector. As a Sales Coordinator, you will assist the sales team in streamlining processes, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of sales orders and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support & Coordination:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and preparing sales presentations.
- Coordinate with various departments (e.g., logistics, procurement, accounts) to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Handle client inquiries, ensuring they receive timely and accurate information.
Order Processing:
- Process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to the production or procurement teams.
- Monitor order status and communicate updates to clients regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and contracts for clients.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns related to orders, deliveries, or products.
- Assist in resolving any customer issues by coordinating with relevant internal teams for quick solutions.
Sales Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions.
- Prepare sales reports, performance metrics, and sales forecasts for the management team.
- Ensure that all documentation related to sales orders, agreements, and customer communications is properly maintained.
Inventory and Stock Management:
- Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory management teams to ensure that products are available for order fulfillment.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in order planning to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the sales operations.
- Assist in the implementation of new sales tools, CRM systems, or procedures to optimize team performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales coordination or support, preferably in industrial sales.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the industrial market and products is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
