Shipsy - Manager - Inside Sales (1-5 yrs)
About Role
We are looking for a motivated and versatile - Inside Sales Manager- to lead the responsibility for sourcing targeted leads with direct PnL impact. The role will also include finding, cultivating and managing leads for the sales efforts of the company. You will be part of the lean business team at Shipsy which encourages you to take ownership of your work promises a steep learning curve as well as significant visibility with higher management and strategy of the company
Responsibilities
Inside Sales
- Develop new business opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and email
- Identify appropriate buyers within the target market
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects via sources such as Trade Directories, Linkedln Sales Navigator
- Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how Shipsy will address those needs
- Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
- Fix appointments for Account Specialists to meet up with prospective customers
- Manage data for all prospective customers into CRM, monitor and follow-up on Account Specialists- interaction with prospective customers and provide monthly report to reflect status
- Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards based on leads qualified to deals closure
- Develop contact with potential customers in the industry by cold calling, emailing or scheduling meetings in
person
- Give customers in-person product demonstrations and teach them about the features and benefits of each item the company offers.
- Conducting on-ground industry and product research to develop go-to-market plans for appropriate industries and executing on the plans
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Requirements
- Motivated, self-driven individual who is looking to work in a lean and dynamic team
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience of multi-tasking and executing campaigns and projects to meet deadlines
- Ideally, have experience in the technology industry prospecting and selling either software or solution-led deals at the CXO level
- Preferred proven SaaS sales experience, either lead generation or inside sales
- Preferred proven ability in penetrating small and large corporations to find decision makers
- Be comfortable in a number driven, target oriented setting
