Sheru - Marketing Manager (5-10 yrs)

Sheru is making green energy accessible for power players and EV drivers. Sheru Tezz is a software platform enabling on-demand access to batteries. We are aggregating EV battery capacity on our platform for power players to warehouse energy for arbitrage and regulation related applications. We are actively adding EV OEMs, CPOs and BSOs to our platform to unlock the full value potential of EVs in India. Founded by BITS-Pilani Alumni and founding employees of Greyorange Robotics, the Company has raised from Micelio, Advantedge, Venture Catalysts, Climate Angels and Turbostart. The company has also received R&D grants from Mercedes Benz and Villgro. Sheru is en route building the next-gen 'AWS of Energy'
Job Description
Location - New Delhi
Experience - 5-10 years
Responsibilities :
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Sheru's target markets, market trends, user needs and competitive activity
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
- Position and message Sheru to win based on an in-depth understanding of the market and the competition
- Provide input into the product roadmap based on a clear understanding of customer pain points
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales & Customer Experience teams
- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
- Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
- Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
- Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
Requirements :
- Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
- A passion for issues around Sustainability, Energy Transition, Climate Action, Distributed & Renewable Energy
- Startup experience desired, able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic yet willing to roll up your sleeves and execute
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field
