Job Description :

- Research, plan, develop, create and write engaging and informative SEO content for the BankBazaar website. This includes product descriptions, company descriptions, news snippets, info-graphics, images, videos and short-form /long-form articles on various personal financial products.

- Write SEO / creative, engaging content for third-party sites and guest blogs to support link-building strategies

- Support social media and PR requirements to meet organizational goals.

- Produce content as required for other emerging formats

- Proofread and edit content generated by in-house writers or agencies.

- Understand the company's SEO strategy and suggest relevant content to drive traffic to the website.

- Check and improve current website content for proper keyword usage

- Identify target audience and incorporate relevant keywords

- Work with SEO analysts to understand SEO requirements and develop content to support SEO strategies to drive traffic to the site and improve website rankings.

- Produce 100% original and unique content

- Comply with copyright norms

Skills Required :

- Highly driven, self-motivated individual with a strong passion and proven flair for writing seeking to build a career in writing

- Excellent command over the English language; strong grammar; versatility in writing styles; ability to format write-ups according to content briefs provided by various stakeholders; ability to edit / proofread write-ups

- Ability to write at least 2000+ words a day on a daily basis

- Fair understanding of personal financial products and personal finance in India as well as digital marketing trends and platforms

- Proven ability or working knowledge on conducting research (predominantly online/internet research) on personal finance topics.

- Ability to identify authority / primary and secondary sources of information and collate data as required

- Ability to synthesize researched information to provide clear, well-formulated content briefs to form the basis of content development

- Strong communication skills to understand content requirements of various stakeholders across the organization and liaise with various personnel to develop and deliver content

- Fair understanding of SEO and SEO tools and strategies viz. keywords, meta data, tags etc.

- Ability to work with no / minimal supervision

- Ability to mentor new writers to the team

- Strong ability to work individually as well as part of a large team and generate ideas to help the overall content process

- Flexible to work with

- Should possess a strong work ethics and display high levels of professionalism
