Job Overview
The SEO Analyst is responsible for the providing reporting, analysis and campaign optimization support to SEOManagers. This spans both the acquisition of traffic to the sites as well as overall optimization of the sites sales performance though SEO. The role work closely with Global SEO team to ensure that business proposition is optimised on the web to drive overall ecommerce penetration and sales performance.
Responsibilities :
- Demonstrable knowledge of latest trends in PPC, onsite marketing, and usability.
- Proven ability to deliver reporting and optimizing campaigns in a complex multi-channel marketing environment.
- High level understanding of paid search services Google, Yahoo and Bing.
- Google Adwords Professional Qualifications a requirement.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access a distinct advantage.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Understanding of the business - product knowledge advantageous.
- Good analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
- AdWords/Analytics Certification Must
- Highly organised and an ability to manage time to deliver to deadlines.
- Tracking tool experience (particularly Omniture) a distinct advantage.
- Inquisitive and strong proven problem solving skills.
Required Skills :
- 1 to 3 Years Experience in media or other relevant field
- Stay on top of current search engine news, trends, SEO practices, and emerging items of interest.
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming for our websites.
- Knowledge and understanding of current search engine algorithms/methods. Suggesting on- site changes to make website more SEO compliant.
- Candidate should be conversant in working on Computer and with a good knowledge of Spoken & written English.
- Knowledge of HTML, PHP, Wordpress, will be added advantage.
