Senior Specialist - Brand Relations (2-4 yrs)
Business Opportunities - Monitor media including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs to create business opportunities
- Undertake research for new business proposals and presenting to potential new clients
- Work as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement the PR activity
- Attend various Client meetings and prepare regular visit reports
Media Relations - Liaise on a daily basis with clients and the media, often via telephone and email
- Relationship building and networking with colleagues, clients and media
- Research writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
- Promote news stories and features to the media
- Collate, analyzing and evaluating media coverage.
Event Management - Manage events, including press conferences and promotional events
Client Relations/Servicing - Attend and promote client events to the media
- Assist with the production of client publications, such as in-house magazines
- Commission market research
- Coordinate studio or location photography for shoot.
PR Coverage - Develop and implement strategic PR programs to achieve significant increases in brand awareness
- Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis situation.
Reports - Keep all project-related information documented and in context. This is to facilitate easy look back and understanding of the entire history of a project or task.
