Senior Sales Professional - Battery (4-7 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive with a track record of proven success in technical sales. The successful candidate will be someone who wants to make a long-term commitment to join a growing, dynamic group of people. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of service to our customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales of lithium-ion battery materials in India, Europe, and North America.

- Respond promptly to all web queries related to lithium-ion battery materials.

- Maintain organized spreadsheets containing customer information, inquiries, and transactions.

- Monitor and track customer sample testing processes and provide feedback to vendors based on customer testing outcomes.

- Engage with customers through various communication channels including email, phone calls, and online meetings.

- Arrange and conduct site visits when necessary to strengthen relationships and address concerns.

- Assist the Battery Sales Team with technical expertise regarding customer accounts.

- Collaborate effectively with the Battery Teams in Germany and Canada.

- Liaise with the customer service and logistics departments in India to facilitate smooth order processing and delivery.

- Identify and propose new business development opportunities and explore potential markets, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the business.

- Support the marketing team in updating and enhancing the battery-related content on the company website.

Good To Have Technical Knowledge:

- Dive deep into the specifications and chemistry of lithium-ion battery materials and keep abreast of the latest advancements and innovations in battery technology.

- Understand the performance characteristics and applications of different battery materials.

- Participate in trade seminars, workshops, and industry conferences related to battery technology.

- Engage with experts, researchers, and industry leaders to gain insights into emerging trends and developments.

- Regularly read industry publications, journals, and research papers focusing on battery materials and technologies.

- Stay informed about recent studies, findings, and breakthroughs in the field.

- Stay up to date on all global developments with Li Ion Battery (Solid State, Li Su, Na Ion) materials, cells, modules, next Gen materials.

Requirements :

- 4 to 7 years technical sales experience, preferably in the battery industry.

- Strong international sales experience is highly desirable.

- An engineering degree is considered a strong asset.

- Excellent Fluency in English - both oral and written is required.

- Have knowledge and understanding of all major Li-ion cell chemistry, cell manufacturing, Electric Vehicle Battery, is considered a strong asset.

- Understanding of the Sales Qualification process for new materials.

- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Ability to take initiative and drive sales initiatives independently, while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required.
