Job summary:

If you are a dynamic and driven sales professional with a knack for Logistics in Over-Dimension Cargo (ODC) handling the entire Transportation and Freight process?

We are looking for a Senior Sales Officer to drive business growth, manage strategic logistics operations, and build lasting relationships with key clients across industries like Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Heavy Machinery, Infrastructure, etc.

Key responsibilities:

- Identify and acquire new business opportunities within ODC clients, Full Truck Load (FTL), and trailer segments.

- Develop strategic sales plans, conduct client meetings, and deliver impactful sales presentations.

- Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring profitability and compliance.

- Coordinate logistics operations, optimize transportation routes, and ensure timely deliveries.

- Prepare and submit RFQs based on vehicle dimensions, tonnage, and cargo specifications.

- Monitor ODC cargoes across states and manage special container vehicle requirements.

- Ensure smooth coordination with suppliers, transporters, and vendors.

- Drive revenue growth through regular follow-ups and client relationship management.

Who we are looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in any stream

- Certifications in Logistics & Transportation or SCM is advantageous

- Total job experience between 6 to 9 years with minimum 5+ years of experience as a sales officer in Over Dimension Cargo solutions.

- Strong understanding of vehicle dimensions, tonnage, and storage capacities.

- Expertise on different vehicle types, including DCMs, Trailers, Types of Containers, and Specialized Vehicles.

- Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience in transportation sales, logistics, and supply chain operations.

- Exposure to industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Defence, Construction, Infrastructure and FMCG, etc.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.

- Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
