Senior Sales Officer (3-4 yrs)
Role - Sr. Sales Officer
Location - Chennai
Summary :
- To achieve Primary and Secondary Sales, Distribution and Visibility objectives through the field sales team (FSR) and the merchandising team. Implement all company initiatives and after sales service at the URC level with the support of the field force
Key responsibilities :
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for the listed product range through the field force.
- Know described functions in the job description of the FSR
- Know the area in terms of profile of the CSD depot, number of URCs, business potential etc.
- Plan and undertake travel to meet the field contact norms. Align with the FSR, share the itinerary and seek for the field sales PJP to make effective field contacts.
- Maintain effective working relation with field sales, CSD depots, URCs, merchandising team and with key officials in the department.
- Collaborate with FSR and draw up Area coverage plan for a systematic coverage of the URCs under direct coverage as per the norms.
- Ensure that all damages stocks at the URC level, any consumer complaint are handled as per the company policy.
- Ensure timely service to CSD depots in the area of delivery of stocks from CFA
- Select, train and activate the in shop promoters to increase productivity in the URC.
- Ensure effective utilization of POPs, installation of display units in the URCs to bring out high quality display of the products through merchandisers and field sales.
- Set, monitor and ensure achievement of brand wise/URC wise/FSR wise distribution and direct coverage.
- Check prices of competition, and monitor competitor activities in the URCs through field visits and reports from FSRs.
- Enable the field sales to achieve distribution and sales targets
- Monitor results of the merchandisers and FSRs based on the reports provided from HO, and give feed back to the ASM.
