Senior Sales & Marketing Manager - Hotel (5-10 yrs)
We have the urgent Opening for The Sales and Marketing person is responsible for the daily sales efforts and is responsible for the overall positioning of the Company, brand communication and the development of customers for the property including, Rooms. In addition, they are responsible for rental revenue, yield strategies, implementation, market performance and meeting budget, forecast, and optimal business mix targets. Strategies will include pricing, status, direct sales, market mix, marketing, and public relations. Candidates must have a dynamic leadership style, possessing excellent communication and decision making skills and an astute business acumen.
Duties and responsibilities :
- Prepare a detailed sales plan for the year with list of activities to be done and prioritizing them
- Build strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets as per the sales business planner sheet in value and in number of turns. Increase in number of repeat customers
- Identify and increase new sales channel/partners (RedBus, IRCTC, etc.: mediums selling are offerings - online & offline)
- Increase in customer footfall at all the centers
- Engage and establish local corporate tie ups (Tours & travel agents, banks, insurance companies, SMEs)
- Analyze and approve credit worthiness of customers before giving them credit (for corporate)
- Generate revenue from cross selling activities/avenues (Example: F&B, commission, advertisements, etc.)
- Preparing budgeted vs. actual sales target report
- Preparing geography wise, center wise, customer profile wise, etc. sales report
- Identify and conduct programs/activities for high value customers
- Increase understanding of customers and their requirements and what makes the service valuable
- Prepare & execute an overall and center wise marketing plan and strategy & marketing budget
- Measure the performance of marketing with ROI activity
- Visiting centers of marketing planning and activities. Market research & analysis.
- Increase in number of bulk booking through campaigns.
- Strategic corporate tie ups at center level
- Conduct customer feedback. Identify areas to improve customer service
- Analyze and prepare report on the customer feedback surveys. Engage in customer face to face and telephonic interactions
- Handle issues of any negative feedback posted by customers on online platform or any other media
