Senior Sales Manager/Lead - Logistics (5-10 yrs)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager/Sales Lead to spearhead our business development initiatives and lead a high-performing sales team. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth at a strategic level. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities and extensive experience in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Prospecting & Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets and secure large-scale clients.
- Lead high-level prospecting efforts and oversee the generation of qualified leads.
Sales Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of sales executives, providing guidance and performance oversight.
- Set sales targets, monitor progress, and drive team performance to achieve revenue goals.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Establish and manage relationships with senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions for high-value deals.
Pipeline Management & Forecasting:
- Oversee sales pipelines, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely deal closures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful client onboarding and satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior management role.
- Proven ability to close large, complex deals and achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain, warehousing, or logistics sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. MBA preferred.
