Senior Sales Executive - Steel (1-5 yrs)

The Senior Sales Executive for steel, TMT bars, PVC pipes, and other building materials is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth in the construction and building industry. This role involves identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding existing customer accounts, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy:

- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives.

- Identify market trends, competitors, and opportunities to adjust the sales strategy accordingly.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

- Identify customer needs, provide solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

New Business Development:

- Identify and target potential clients in the construction and building industry.

- Generate leads, conduct market research, and establish new accounts.

Product Knowledge:

- Possess a deep understanding of steel, TMT bars, PVC pipes, and other building materials.

- Educate customers on product features, advantages, and benefits.

Sales Presentations:

- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential and existing clients.

- Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of the products.

Quoting and Pricing:

- Provide accurate and competitive price quotes to clients.

- Negotiate pricing and terms to reach mutually beneficial agreements.

Order Processing:

- Process sales orders, coordinate delivery schedules, and ensure timely product delivery.

- Monitor order fulfillment and resolve any issues that may arise.

Market Analysis:

- Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and changes in demand.

- Provide regular market feedback to the management team.

Reporting:

- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and sales performance analysis.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and results.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven track record in sales, specifically within the construction and building materials industry.

- Strong product knowledge of steel, TMT bars, PVC pipes, and other building materials.

- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.

- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Working Conditions:

- The job may require frequent travel to meet with clients and prospects.

- Work may include both office-based tasks and on-site visits to construction sites or distribution centers.

- Regular communication with internal teams, including product and logistics departments.

- The Senior Sales Executive plays a critical role in promoting and selling essential building materials to the construction and building industry. Success in this role contributes to the growth and profitability of the company in the construction materials market.
