Senior Sales Development Role - IT (2-5 yrs)
We are hiring passionate sales development professionals for our client, an exciting startup at Noida.
Job Summary: The Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for the sales team. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of B2B sales processes. The Senior SDR will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop strategies for lead generation and qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and research potential clients in target markets.
- Utilize various tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, CRM systems, Lead Generation Systems) to generate leads.
- Reach out to potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media.
Qualification and Nurturing:
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria to ensure they are a good fit for our products/services.
- Nurture relationships with potential clients through regular follow-ups and personalized communication.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align on lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, qualification rates, and conversion rates.
- Use CRM tools to maintain accurate records of interactions and progress with potential clients.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in B2B sales.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve lead generation processes and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a sales development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Prior experience in consultative tech sales is mandatory
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and techniques (Mandatory)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in Innovation and new Tech Sales is a plus.
- Familiarity with Apollo, Lusha, FreshSales, LinkedIn Sales Manager
- Advanced understanding of social selling and digital prospecting techniques
