Job Summary:

The Senior Relationship Manager - Central Government Business plays a pivotal role in acquiring and managing relationships with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) under the central government. The primary objective is to build strong, long-term relationships with PSU clients, understanding their financial needs, and offering appropriate banking solutions. Here is a general outline of the responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and acquire new PSU clients under the central government to expand the bank's customer base.

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing PSU clients, understanding their banking requirements, and providing customized solutions.

3. Provide financial advisory services to PSU clients, including investment options, cash management solutions, and treasury services.

4. Promote the bank's products and services to PSU clients, ensuring they are aware of all banking solutions available to them.

5. Cross-sell other banking products, such as loans, insurance, and investment products, to PSU clients to maximize revenue.

6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while dealing with PSU clients.

7. Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting PSU clients and their industries.

8. Prepare and submit regular reports on client acquisition, revenue generation, and client satisfaction to senior management.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Additional certifications in banking or finance are desirable.

2. Experience in acquiring and managing PSU clients in the banking or financial services industry.

3. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.

4. Sound financial acumen with a good understanding of banking products and services.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

6. Strong negotiation skills to close deals and manage client expectations.

7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
