Job Description
Branch Merchandising Manager
Objective -
- The job holder will be responsible for maximising sales and profitability in the business by potentialising trading of all stores across regions and territories.
- Maximising profit and sales densities.
- Managing a team of Branch Merchandisers to tailor assortments to local trading conditions and coordinating new launches.
- Managing the effective communication with stores, product planning buying and the distribution centres
Key Responsibilities -
- Work closely with product Planning Managers to ensure that the central strategy is fully implemented in stores
- Manage the location planning and re-forecasting process to ensure that all locations have accurate and up to date forecasts
- Management of a team of Branch Merchandisers
- Potentialis esales and profit opportunities in stores on your region /territory
- Liaise with Buying, Planning, Retail, Retail Finance, and Area Visual Merchandisers
- Present weekly overview of Store Performance, identifying 'fashion" priorities and proposed activity to address any concerns or opportunities
- Spotting trends to feeding back to Planning, Buying and Territories
- Managing store grading and clustering
- Manage the store profiling and bias para meters and align with Planning and Buying
- Broker space allocation within the concept to facilitate Concept product strategy
- Manage the overall Concept space planning to ensure the store option counts are accurate and tailored to space
- Manage the overall Concept allocations and replenishment
- Manage the product input to optimise flow through DC
- Liaison with territories to identify local opportunities
- Visit territories and stores to be abreast with product performance and trends
- Working closely with Territory
- Managers to build up profiles of stores to help tailor stock packages to meet local customers
- Managing branch openings, closures, & space changes
- Attending area meetings and Range Reviews, providing feedback
- Ensure effective in
- Season management through regular analysis and action planning across concept and territory based on the performance around the following anchors
- Sales vs Stock
- Inflows/OTB
- Stock analysis
- Stock balancing
- Margin analysis
- Promotional activity
- Maximising full price sell through
- Minimising store terminal stock
- Manage "sale" sell through including creation and management of - sale- grading Manage and facilitate action to be taken on out of stock situation
