To lead our growth we are looking for a Sr Manager- Strategic Alliances & Partnerships BFSI who is expected to drive the company's strategic partnerships with clients in Banking, finance and insurance sectors and in doing so grow the top line of the organisation through active engagement to exceed the revenues of our organisation through deep & cross-selling. This person is also expected to enhance our success stories by generating new client leads and get them signup for a smooth transition to our platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identification of potential Strategic Alliances (Banks, Small Finance Banks, payment Banks, NBFCs, Digital partners, Corporate Agents, Brokers, Microfinance Institutions etc.). This will require negotiation on building alliances across a spectrum of Govt/Non Govt entities.
- Develop a vision and secure buy-in from across the business for Our Company banking & insurance relationships and market coverage. Research prospective accounts (Banks - Private & PSU, NBFCs, HFCs, Digital Lenders, Small Finance Banks, Cooperative Societies and Urban Cooperative Banks) in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
- Create and conceptualize new propositions and prospects corporate tie-ups within the identified segments - Banks/Small Financial companies, new age investment solution providers
- Work with business groups to understand business model & different finance processes, and take charge of compliance of Finance Operations.
- The position is also directly responsible for meeting targeted numbers of new merchants to be signed on our platform, other sales quality parameters, managing multiple partners, including training, monitoring, and build long term relationships with key stake holders in their hierarchy.
- Create specific frameworks in partner selection, network development and alliance design.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with senior leaders at partner companies to ensure that all parties are satisfied with the progress and outcome of partnerships
- You will partner with business teams to support product/s launch and enable business expansions as a core team member representing Finance Operations.
- Identify and develop opportunities for improved cash flow, margin or productivity internal and external to Finance Operations, collaborating and building relationships with our business partners to drive end-to-end improvements and sound financial and customer experience recommendations and successes.
- Liaise with Tax, Legal and Accounting teams to understand their requirements and incorporate them in Business Requirement document (BRD) while engaging with technology teams to translate business requirements into configurable design specs.
Desired Qualifications & Experience :
- 8 to 12 years of experience in Alliance, Partnership and Marketing role in Payments and Fin-tech industries
- Strong Customer focus (both Internal / External)
- Strong interpersonal skills - including written and oral communication skills.
- The incumbent should have been part of the payments ecosystem with deep involvement in disruptive technology-based offerings, game-changing products and solutions, business strategy, acquisition in related spaces and creation of new business models.
- Good exposure to payments and digital business.
- A passion for understanding core customer requirements and business objectives
- Relevant experience in leading digital initiatives including strategy and technology in banks and financial institutions, payment technology and services companies, P2P payment services businesses or mobile payments services companies.
- Masters degree in business, finance or a related field
