Senior Manager - Sales - Information Security/MSS & Cyber Security Services (8-16 yrs)
Security Manager - MSS Security Sales specialist
Company has a fast growing Managed security services business which is poised for global expansion on the back of a robust solution/ product portfolio as well as strategic investments and enhancements in delivery capabilities like Regional SOC and integrated Service Delivery platforms. The MSS product stack cuts across a Strong play in Network and content protection, attack prevention & mitigation (with a leading play in DDoS services), and cloud security. This is now evolving into a compelling portfolio with Integrated threat management, Advanced Cloud Security services, Identity & Data Security solutions and Advisory + GRC solutions.
- Company is looking for professionals with superior Security solution sales and business development skills who can rapidly grow the Managed Security business and portfolio in the APAC region.
- Going beyond - Security technology- to - Security execution- this role will focus on building longer term relationships with end-customers around MSS themes and not feature/functionality selling. This to be achieved through the success of programs sold around company MSS portfolio that help sustain the ongoing security needs of an enterprise.
- Promote the company's value proposition in MSS to customers and prospective customers
Responsibilities :
- Sales Quota & target -bearing role by working with company's Sales and Market oriented teams to position and promote managed security services to end-customers and prospects. This will cover the basket of offerings of MSS as defined above.
- Consultative selling approach by understanding and analyzing the customer security posture and identifying solutions that would help fill critical gaps.
- Work closely with technical solutions architects, commercial management, product management, and other support organizations to ensure close link between customer requirements and our ability to deliver appropriate solutions
- Support the productive relationships with vendors, partners, channels and related companies linked to MSS - expanding our addressable market
- Work with MSS Product team - to co-develop and execute go-to-market or penetration strategies to drive MSS business growth
Experience & Qualifications :
- Demonstrated ability and successful track record in selling specific offerings in Information Security, MSS and Cyber security - MUST HAVE
- Strong understanding of the entire Information Security domain and environment of our enterprise - MUST HAVE
- Seed MSS opportunities and sustain the pipeline - to identify opportunities, develop the solution and close deals
- Stakeholder relationship mgmt. - Develop customer relationships espl at the CISO level to be in the consideration for any MSS requirement
- Ability to define the MSS solution contours and drive the technical pre-sales team to cater to the specific proposal - MUST HAVE
- Bring in other strategies and best practices for MSS business and customer acquisition
- Minimum 5 years in a focused role in enterprise/managed security domain - MUST HAVE
- Prior experience of having worked with MSSP or IT System Integrators (security practice) or Consulting player (security practice) - Preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- BSc, Bachelors in Computer Science and/or Engineering; Degree in commercial discipline, telecommunications, IT or related field is an advantage
- Any Security certification like CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSK - Preferred
Skills :
- Well versed in security technology and Managed services and Operations models to determine customer needs and sell
- Strong presentation skills and ability to interact well with customers at Middle to senior level and savvy in typical security deployments
- Language skills - Mandarin/ Malay/or Local language speaking will be an added advantage
- Security sales experience in regional market (as per specific region)
- Well versed in security technology and Managed services and Operations models to determine customer needs and sell
- Ability to think creatively, identify problems and offer solutions with minimal guidance
- Ability to work against deadlines to close business and drive the proposition across the sales and customer layers
- Drive target achievement through collaboration with internal and internal stakeholders
- Must be open to regional travel
- Must be able to work in a matrix organization and be a strong team player
