Senior Manager - Sales - Building Materials/Construction/Chemicals (3-5 yrs)
Job Title/Role : Sr. Sales Manager

Reporting To: Sales Director
Experience : 3 to 5 years in the field of Building Material/Construction Chemicals with experience handling the rest of the Maharashtra region.
Location : Goa and Vapi, Gujarat
Qualifications : Graduate or postgraduate from a recognized university. Preferably, civil engineering
Skills :
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Product knowledge
- Good PR Skills
- Self-motivation and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Confident and keen acumen
- Computer Conversant including mailing, Excel reports etc.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities :
1. Implement operational plans to retain and enhance the customer base :
- Execute planned activities at the field sales level to achieve the operational targets and objectives.
- Conduct meetings with key customers to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Organize and provide regular training to enhance the knowledge and skills of the sales team.
- Review the activities, sales plan, and payment collection plan of the team on a weekly basis.
- Identify and appoint new dealers across the Goa region while effectively managing existing dealers.
2. Participate in the sales cycle :
- Generate leads for potential customers.
- Coordinate the sampling process for products.
- Send quotations to customers and follow up on them.
- Lead a team of Sales Managers and Sales Executives in project sales.
- Conduct review meetings with the sales team to assist and support them in converting inquiries into orders.
- Visit project sites to understand customer needs and provide suitable solutions.
- Manage order placement and monitor the order management process.
- Follow up on payments with clients and distributors.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database file and inquiry file.
- Generate accurate and timely quotations, and maintain follow-up records of quotations.
- Prepare daily sales reports summarizing activities, progress, and results.
- Monitor and track collections to ensure timely and complete payment from customers.
- Meet individual sales targets consistently.
