Senior Manager/Manager - Business Development (Solar Projects)
Responsibilities :
Expansion & Partner Management :
- Expansion project management - project manage new installation partner onboarding end to end and handhold for the first few months
- General admin & IT - responsible for all admin, IT requirements
- Legal & Compliance - take care of all necessary compliance and legal aspects working along with the central legal teams
Leadership and Development :
- Manage business development leads across cities and build capability to resolve customer technical queries
- Develop and motivate employees, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions . Optimize team structures
Sales Targets :
- Responsible for achieving area wise lead and revenue targets for the company
- Define Key deliverables and metrics for different teams
Customer Excellence through product development :
- Work with operations, product development and marketing teams to offer customer oriented solutions
- Analyze data to proactively predict the trend and take appropriate course correction accordingly
Decision-Making Skills :
- The buck stops with you. Whether it is dealing with employees, customers, top executives or vendors, you will have to make decisions that affect the company. Having the ability to make hard and fast decisions is crucial to your success
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE :
- MBA is good to have, but not absolute necessity
- Engineering with good academic background is preferred
- Sales experience: handling large teams for more than 2 years, managing tiered teams and multiple functions would be preferred but not mandatory
- 5+ years of experience in sales roles
- Having experience in engineering industries in sales
- Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking
- Needs to be entrepreneurial with a strong self drive
