Senior Manager/Manager - Business Development - Fragrance & Flavour Industry (5-10 yrs)
- Minimum 5+ years of selling aroma ingredients to the Fragrance and Flavor industry, with exposure to export sales considered a bonus.
Position Overview & Responsibilities :
Market Analysis :
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the Fragrance and Flavor industry, identifying market dynamics and opportunities for aroma ingredients.
- Craft sales strategies informed by competitive intelligence and real-time market insights to penetrate new markets and acquire customers.
Own Your PnL :
- Achieve and exceed PnL targets, managing cashflows through strategic lead generation, prospecting, and swift conversion tactics.
- Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports, contributing to the growth engine.
- Collaborate with internal teams for streamlined documentation and process-driven order fulfillment.
Hustle for Building a Business :
- Establish strong connections with manufacturers, distributors, and end customers in the Fragrance and Flavor industry, both domestically and in export markets.
- Negotiate and close deals that drive growth in the export market for aroma ingredients.
- Address customer inquiries promptly, focusing on continuous improvement for enhanced conversion rates.
Product Prowess :
- Identify gaps in the market with a focus on aroma ingredients, building a profitable business portfolio.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, product innovations, and regulatory shifts in the Fragrance and Flavor industry.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. MBA is a power-up.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling aroma ingredients, preferably with manufacturers or distributors in the Fragrance and Flavor industry.
- Expertise in fragrance and flavor industry, including a strong understanding of the market and various aroma ingredients.
- Proven ability to build and sustain impactful business relationships.
- Export sales exposure is considered a bonus.
- The role requires candidates with an affinity for action and adaptability to a fast-moving environment.
- Self-motivated, numbers-focused, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
