Senior Manager/Manager - Business Development - Education (3-10 yrs)
Business Development Manager / Senior Business Development Manager
Key responsibilities :
- Be responsible for the design and delivery of the market plans and strategies to maximize test registrations from the assigned territory.
- The incumbent will work closely with the existing agent network and will maintain the relationship on the ground and will sign-up new agents across the region, to drive more registrations.
- Carry out the day-to-day activity - like meeting agents, training counsellors, training the trainers and conduct student sessions leading to revenue generation.
- Imparting product training and new developments of the test to the stakeholders through webinars, events, sessions and in person meets.
- The incumbent will attend education fairs and recruitment events across the territory to meet and advise prospective students.
- The incumbent will work closely with colleagues across other regions and marketing functions for a seamless delivery of the project.
- Organize and support recruitment-focused events like webinars on TOEFL, seminars on studying abroad etc.
- Organizing and supporting agent workshops, recruitment events with counsellors
- Support and implement centralized promotional campaigns on ground
- Gather market intelligence and competitor landscaping
Person Specification :
- Educated to bachelor's degree level or equivalent
- Demonstrable (3+ years) experience in education industry (preferred)/any service industry
- Demonstrable (3+ years) experience in transactional/consultative sales (any industry)
- Capabilities to develop, engage and maintain relationships on ground
- Ability to manage agency accounts (like agent aggregators, test voucher resellers etc.)
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Understand the importance of service delivery and show a willingness to work with colleagues
- Highly developed written and oral communication and presentation skills, including use of digital and social media for business purposes
- Willingness to adopt a flexible working approach by working unsocial hours, weekends, or occasional public holidays when required
- Ability to undertake business-related travel in market on an unrestricted basis (indicative 20 weeks per year)
- Self-starter, team player, honest and committed to the growth of the brand
