Senior Manager - Communications & Digital Marketing - NGO (7-12 yrs)
What You Will Do :
You will be the communication and digital marketing expert
The indicative roles and responsibilities can be broken down as follows :
1. Leads development and building of an engaging and compelling (client brand-anNGO) in India
2. Works with the GM - Resource Mobilisation to develop and implement a Pan India communications and digital marketing strategy that leverages the unique strengths of the organization to achieve India's ambitious targets for growth and to strengthen brand recognition to key audiences.
3. Coordinates and supports resource mobilization needs for communication with Government Agencies, Foundations, Corporates, HNWI and other potential streams of income that might benefit from a regional role and monitors fundraising performance and growth at a national level
4. Promotes the effective integration of communications and marketing messages and activities across all base offices.
5. Works with SMT to develop and lead India level and Network campaigns for brand building and public engagement.
6. Assists the organization in increasing donations from individual donors
7. Run digital campaigns/ads on various platforms
8. Generate leads through marketing activities - Leveraging Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Blog writing, website optimization etc
9. Integrate all platforms necessary for digital fundraising (CRM, emailing platforms, donation gateways, etc.)
10. Develop monitoring dashboards to track and analyse our digital campaigns and generate reports on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
What You Need To Have :
a. 7-10 years of communications experience, covering areas such as website content, newsletters, and donor communications.
b. The ability to take knowledge and transform it into exciting and useful messages, and disseminate it to the right audiences through the best distribution channels is critical.
c. Highly collaborative style; experience developing and implementing communications strategies
d. Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
e. A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently
f. High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels
g. Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other supporters
h. Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives
i. Public speaking and presentation skills, as well as strong written communication skills
j. Ability to work independently and collaboratively
