Senior Manager - Business Development & Sales - Fintech (3-8 yrs)
Location : Bangalore or Mumbai
Experience Required : 3-8 years in Fintech and/or Supply Chain Financing
Education : MBA from a Tier 1 institute preferred
Job Type : Full-time
Key Responsibilities :
Pre-Sales Activities :
- Identify potential leads and build a robust pipeline for the focus verticals
- Conduct market research to understand the trade, credit requirements, brand positioning, business cycles and margins
- Engage with trade associations to build relationships with manufacturers
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute lead generation strategies.
Sales Activities :
- Contribute to different phases of sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Handoff the engagements to the operations team to execute credit programs on behalf of the anchors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the Industry
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients.
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
Client Relationship Management :
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and concerns.
- Develop long-term relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Strategy and Planning :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to refine strategies and approaches.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market conditions.
Team Collaboration :
- Work closely with the business analyst to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
- Collaborate with operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights.
Qualifications and Skills :
- MBA from a Tier 1 institute preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in fintech, supply chain credit, or related fields.
- Proven track record in B2B sales and business development.
- Understanding of the building materials industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in CRM software, Chatbots, and Office/Google Workspace
