Senior Manager - Business Development - Information Security Training Firm (10-15 yrs)
Job location - Kolkata or Bangalore
CTC - 20000 USD - 25000 USD + commission
Must be open to work from home and willing to travel in India and South Asia region.
Travel expenses will be borne by the company
Job Purpose:
- To be responsible for sales and business development of the product portfolio in the India and South Asia Region, mainly selling to Enterprise, Corporate & Federal Government clients (Mainly Hunting)
- To understand the elements of the portfolio you are accountable for, along with the associated systems and processes
- To be responsible for developing existing client relationships in addition to identifying and pursuing new client opportunities from prospect to partner and to fully represent and build the brand in accordance with the company brand values and mission statement.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- To build and maintain the brand and mission
- Hunt for New Accounts
- To manage, develop and grow existing client relationships
- To proactively network across Enterprise, Corporate & Federal Government sectors
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with assigned accounts and aim to grow current opportunities
- Translate Cyber Security industry developments into customer driven solutions
- Manage, deliver & exceed targets, KPI's and other set objectives
- Ability to differentiate our offerings against those of our competition
- To follow and understand the latest trends and developments in the cyber security industry
- Effectively support campaigns and events to help deliver revenue growth targets
- To develop and maintain an accurate sales forecast and robust pipeline
- To successfully develop and drive sales plans, using agreed methodologies
- Adhere to agreed sales processes and procedures
- To define and develop peer and executive relationships
- Carry out additional responsibilities as requested by the management team
Essential Requirements:
- 10 + years- experience as a Business Development Manager
- Experience selling to Enterprise, Corporate and Federal Government
- Preferably from IT/ITES or Cyber Security Sector
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and resilient in delivering business results and projects
- Ability to network and communicate at all levels both internally and externally
- Proven track record of delivering against targets within a sales role
- Aligning and prioritising multiple demands
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Computer literate competent in using all Microsoft Packages to a high standard Desirable
- An understanding of the Cyber Security industry
- Familiar with Salesforce
