Senior Manager - Business Development - Financial Services (10-15 yrs)
What does the job involve ?
- Lead the development and execution of high volume, B2B sales strategy for our financial services products, across all target segments
- Hire, develop, and retain employees across our Financial Services Sales team
- Create and optimize sales processes and methodologies for Financial Services.
- Own revenue targets - set, measure, and achieve goals for and with the team. Define yearly strategy and quota allotments by role to achieve MoM/YoY growth
- Build and deploy commission structures.
- Establish and nurture relationships with prospects, channel partners and customers.
- Identify, leverage, and expand business opportunities with existing clients.
- Strategize with Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing teams to grow pipelines and improve the business development process
- Monitor the market and provide detailed sales forecasting
- Review client activity, anticipate client needs, and improve overall satisfaction
- Create and deliver sales reports. Work cross-functionally to provide feedback to the support/leadership teams.
Qualifications :
- 10+ years experience in enterprise B2B sales with the financial sector
Proven track record in high-volume transactions and Enterprise SaaS sales, with the ability to go down-market
- Established expertise and a background in Fintech, HRtech, or Insurance Tech
- Success in building a scalable sales team in a high-growth environment, then leading them to measurable results
- Proven experience with Sales Compensation Plan building and administration
- Data-savviness : You know what to track, why, and how to use that data to tell a compelling story.
