Senior Manager - Business Development - API/Bulk Drug (12-16 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Identification and selection of API drug opportunities for the Regulated markets via competitive landscape mapping, pricing analysis, technical complexity, patent expiry and feasibility of the project in existing facility.

- New Product portfolio selection and evaluation involving various stages in analysing project parameters like market sales, competition, patent expiry, technical complexity, BE studies, feasibility of manufacturing in existing unit & involvement of CAPEX

- Prepare and maintain Business case for project go/no-go decision

- Design consolidated deck of Pipeline products

- Being responsible for managing and tracking budget expenditure for Pipeline products

- Evaluation of Business proposals to recommend M&A decisions

- Being responsible for Client relationship management and in business development activities for line extension of products and increasing portfolio.

- Manage technology transfer projects in terms of project risks, budget, quality/scope and timings according to state-of-the art project management methodology

Pre Sales : Generate Cost competitive proposals while working very closely with cross-functional teams (Procurement, R&D and Plant) and the Customer/ BD

- Being responsible for projects with varying complexities and in different phases of development involving ANDA filing, validations and commercial manufacturing.

- Prepare and ensure project scope and align with all stakeholders during project definition and execution

- Drive timely decisions within the project team and with relevant commercial and operational management.

- Prepare monthly report on variance-actual vs budget planning for performance

- Estimate the resources needed to meet supply needs and prepare Cost Budget and integrated manufacturing schedules to get the appropriate products for development

- Periodically conduct portfolio review meetings for pipeline products with R & D & marketing to review projections, competitive landscape and project strategy for prioritization/re - prioritization

- Analysing and updating competitive landscape of pipeline product on monthly basis

- Providing inputs to R & D and Launch & Marketing teams w.r.t volume projections, Batch-size, trade dress, pack sizes

- Doing ROI analysis to forecast volumes, Sales, Gross profit of the products based on timelines.

- Analysing variance in various parameters between product approval stage to the current status of the product

End-to-End Account Management : Responsible for lead generation, customer acquisition, and retaining them.
