Senior Manager - Business Development (10-15 yrs)
Job Summary :
- The company has major ongoing business with big retailers (US client). This position will manage the complete order lifecycle from inquiry to payment while meeting customer demands and growing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Sr. Marketing manager and identify business growth opportunities yearly
- Development of new verticals ( category, market, customer, etc) yearly
- Carry out Gap Analysis & prepare Market Survey report as & when required
- Customer communication/ Be the front face daily
- Manage and lead all new inquiries/buying trips activities with the help of the Creative team daily
- Travel to assigned markets monthly
- Back office co-ordination with all concerned departments for smooth and timely execution of the order daily
- Checkpoint for all Assistant Merchandisers' responsibilities daily
- Frequently visiting the plant for planning and production review as & when required
Major Duties :
1. Understand customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction at each step.
2. Represent the business in front of customers during fairs, buying trips, and customer meetings and visits.
3. Have complete control of order execution and coordinate with each of the teams involved.
4. Prepare a report of market research report and review the same every buying season.
