Position: Branch Head

Experience: 6-8 years in public relations.

Skill sets:

- Should be a senior manager in the above mentioned companies in a team leader role

- Should have excellent written and spoken English

- Street smart and aggressive

- Excellent contacts with senior news media journalists

KRAs:

New business development

- To identify any new business opportunity in within the branch location

- To prepare and deliver power-point presentations to potential clients on company credentials and PR strategy.

Managing existing business


- Planning and implementing PR strategies for clients

- Gaining client confidence by offering a new and innovative approach from time to time

- Retaining existing business and ensuring renewal of contracts

- Ensuring top notch and high end quality client servicing

- Conducting periodic reviews o Reporting on the progress of each account to respective clients and the agency top management

Team management

- Leading and motivating a team of 12-15 persons which include managers and executives

- Ensuring the team meets operational objectives in implementing the PR campaign for clients

- Conducting weekly team meetings to monitor progress on work

Media Relations


- Meeting key journalists and editors whenever required as per the needs of the PR campaign

Administrative responsibilities:

- Maintaining the company decorum and an appropriate work culture and discipline among staff serving the branch.

- Assisting the management to build a suitable infrastructure for the smooth functioning of the branch.

- Reporting to the Mumbai head office on progress of the branch.

Financial responsibilities:

- Invoicing and collections

1. Coordinating with Mumbai office to ensure bills are raised and sent to the client on time.

2. Collecting payment from the client on time.

Human Resources responsibilities:

- Sourcing and recruitment of local staff

- Induction and training of local staff

- Managing employee grievances at local level
