Senior Inside Sales Executive - Software/Services (3-6 yrs)
The Inside Sales / Demand Generation Representative is responsible for creating qualified leads through telephone sales, email and digital channels by working on prospects generated by inbound or outbound campaigns and delivering qualified leads and opportunities to the sales team. This individual will be responsible for creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. This position will be part of the marketing team.
Job Duties
- Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead, inbound website leads or digital campaign leads
- Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales pitch
- Create and deliver qualified leads and opportunities to sales team, where appropriate
- Collaborate with sales team and account managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
- Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects
- Ensure follow-up by passing leads to sales team with calls-to action, dates, complete profile information, sources, and so on
- Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into leads
- Overcome objections of prospective customers, position Nucleus software as a leading software provider, emphasize product/service features and benefits
- Maintain a lead tracker capturing progress/updates on leads on an ongoing basis and prepare and publish reports
