The Job :
- Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated salesperson to join their IT training and workshop company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in consultative selling. The salesperson will play a crucial role in promoting and selling their range of IT training programs and workshops to professionals and businesses.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Identify and prospect potential clients within the IT industry who would benefit from our training programs.
- Engage with leads through various channels, including phone calls, emails, networking events, and social media platforms.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- A deep understanding of the training programs offered is essential. The person needs to explain the content, outcomes, and value of each program accurately.
- The person should be articulate and able to convey the benefits of the training & workshop programs clearly to potential clients. Should listen actively to clients' needs and tailor their communication accordingly.
- Utilize online research, networking events, and referrals to generate leads.
- Needs to Recommend appropriate training solutions based on the client's needs and goals.
- The person Should Showcase how the training programs can address client's specific technical challenges.
- The person should be able to Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and training content to clients with varying technical backgrounds.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical professionals about the benefits and relevance of our training programs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns to generate leads and promote training offerings.
- Handle objections, negotiate terms, and close sales in a consultative manner.
- Provide exceptional post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and successful program implementation.
- Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and meetups to expand your network and generate leads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in our CRM system.
- Create customized proposals and presentations that align with the client's specific needs and challenges.
- Showcase the ROI of the training programs in terms of improved skills and job performance.
- Establish trust through knowledgeable discussions about IT training needs.
- Provide clarifications and solutions to overcome potential barriers.
- Provide insights to help shape the development of new training programs.
- Negotiating pricing and contract terms while ensuring the client's needs are met.
- Secure commitments and close deals.
- Ensure a smooth transition of clients to the training and workshop teams for enrollment and participation.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and objectives.
- Follow up with clients post-training to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
- Operate with integrity and honesty, providing accurate information to clients.
- Share client feedback and insights with the marketing and instructional design teams to improve offerings.
Ideal Candidate :
- Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the IT industry or related field.
- The ability to convey complex technical information in a clear, concise, and understandable manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to listen, understand client needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
