Senior Executive - Sales & Marketing - Events Management (6-8 yrs)
Required Profile :
Educational Qualification : Graduate or Post Graduate in Marketing or international Marketing.
Experience : 6 to 8 years in Similar role
Preferred Industry : Hospitality Industry, or from Event, Exhibitons or Conference Industry
- The Senior Executive for National Events will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing large-scale events that promote national unity and showcase the culture and diversity of the country. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination :
- Develop and implement event plans, including budgeting, logistics, marketing, and communication strategies.
- Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure the successful execution of events.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing events.
Project Management :
- Establish timelines and deliverables for each event and monitor progress to ensure milestones are met.
[ Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders and management.
- Proactively identify potential issues and risks and develop contingency plans.
Marketing and Communications:
- Develop and execute marketing and communication plans to promote events and engage attendees.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent and compelling message is delivered to the target audience.
- Create content for social media, website, and other communication channels.
Team Management :
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of event staff, volunteers, and contractors.
- Provide clear direction, support, and feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and execution, preferably for large-scale events.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle unexpected challenges.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, and social media platforms.
- Experience in team management and leadership.
