Senior Executive - Sales - IT (3-5 yrs)
As a Sr. Sales executive, you will display the ability to engage and influence a director (or above level) in a prospective client. You will be effective in handling sales activities and be responsible for achieving sales targets. You will build a solid sales/lead generation strategy, which will help the organization exceed its revenue goals.
The ideal candidate will
- Can make phone calls to cold prospects to clients in US, Europe, Australia and articulate the firm's value proposition clearly.
- Convince the prospects to a follow up meeting with firm's leadership team/onsite sales team On the fly, can creatively react to objections raised by clients
- Can mine a new client organization and open multiple doors simultaneously
- Understand client business, org structures, roles and responsibilities and pitch accordingly
- Can bring firm's expertise from other related clients to the fore in conversations with the new prospects.
- Unearth new trends in analytics which can be of use to clients and thereby build firm's business
- Report to the senior management on sales metrics, opportunities and threats
- Generate leads in the client organization leveraging all resources at hand
- Be perseverant in taking a client from the first cold call to the first revenue stream
- Monitor and track lead lifecycle in CRM system
- Work and execute sales campaigns
- Involve in sales pitch and negotiations with prospects
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor in IT / Computers / EE or related fields; MBA is a plus
- 3 years of work experience in B2B Sales
- Should be creative, street smart and resilient to manage long sales cycles
- Past experience in solution selling is a good to have skill
- Should be comfortable in understanding and explaining technology and solutions
- Have excellent communication and negotiation skills
