Job Title: Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager Sales - Food and Nutrition - Bangalore and Ahmedabad
Job Purpose : To generate the maximum amount of profitable sales through the achievement of sales targets.
Job Responsibilities :
- Generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against annual sales targets.
- Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
- Monitor customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited.
- Establish and maintain effective communication links with other company departments to identify all sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning.
- Maintain awareness of company products and of relevant sales techniques to ensure that the sales role is carried out as effectively as possible.
- To attend customer's timely requirements of service.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure that they are provided with all necessary technical support.
- Respond to customer complaints and resolve any technical problems to ensure that company products are working effectively and the customer is satisfied with the service provided.
- Provide feedback to any relevant company departments about complaints and problems to try to ensure that these do not arise in the future.
- Organize site visits and product trials for prospective customers and report results to relevant managers in the company.
- Maintain regular contact with the sales and production functions to keep abreast of any developments in products and services.
- Maintain an awareness of developments in the fields of product marketing and research to ensure that the company continues to compete effectively.
Key Skills :
- Expert at Business Development of Food Additives
- Demonstrate superior verbal abilities, negotiation skills, and aptitude to talk both technically with R&D and -commercially with purchase team
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical Background of Hydrocolloids, Antioxidants, Flavors, Emulsifiers, Enzymes, Phosphates, etc. required
Industry : Food and Nutrition / Similar Industry
Relevant Experience : 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in food and nutrition segment
Department - Food and Nutrition
Job Location: Bangalore / Ahmedabad ( Requirement - 1 for each location)
Working Days: 6 days
Qualification :
- Graduate
- Food Science Stream candidates along with any advanced Marketing Degree will be an advantage
Required Experience: 3-5 yrs
