Senior Consultant - Presales - IT (8-12 yrs)

- Sourcing RFP development and rollout, service provider commercial negotiations, SOW commercial exhibits creation and client management in a sourcing journey

- Analysis and client syndication of service provider bids in the pre-BAFO and BAFO rounds

- Comprehensive Financial Analysis, Business Case, and Benchmarking to support upstream M&A,

- Transformation, or Sourcing Strategy (retained, outsourced, or inhouse centers)

- IT and BPO portfolio Benchmarking and Health Checks to identify areas of improvement in client' existing retained and outsourced operations, service provider portfolios, spend etc

- Assist enterprise clients with provider site visits on ongoing outsourcing transactions

- Work with our external GIC advisory alliances (to execute and run client operations) in India to further the growth of the GIC advisory capability for the firm

- Lead the packaging of advisory content from the firm's engagements, advisor connects, and COE engagements for internal and external publishing and marketing


- The Engagement Director in the Advisory practice will be involved in all aspects of practice management i.e.

- Build and growth of existing/new products

- Collaborate with the practice leaders and Marketing on ideas to synthesize/package practice capabilities, IP, and engagement takeaways into marketable content

- Longer-term objectives include facilitating the growth and evolution of the practice as mandated by the business. Indicative aeras could be helping in the hiring and management of a team of Consultants and Senior Consultants with specific areas of focus; establish presence in domestic market etc.

Responsibilities :

- Analysis, financial modelling, synthesizing observations/recommendations, benchmarking and reporting on active client engagements

- Support the leaders in practice P&L responsibilities such as business development, marketing, straddling multiple benchmarking engagements, revenue and profitability discussions with WGroup leadership etc.

- Develop a strong reputation within and outside the firm based on quality of work and insights delivered to clients, as well as by helping publish top quality content (whitepapers/viewpoints/ blogs etc.)

- Mentor Consultants and Senior Consultants in the team and provide oversight to their efforts

- Work closely with the leaders in practice building initiatives including, benchmarking database set-up/management, active client delivery, sales & marketing support

- Assist other teams with pricing/contracting related inquiries and projects, as needed

Education and Experience :

- We are seeking a high caliber 'entrepreneurial' individual to maintain our exceptional standards. This person should have:

- 10+ years of relevant experience with expertise in Solutioning and pricing knowhow in outsourcing transformation mandates (specially on the IT Infrastructure side, with experience on Cloud, SaaS models, Automation and/or BPO F&A) based on solution architecture roles in service providers OR sourcing advisory experience within management consulting firms

- Prior experience in, and ability to comprehend, trends in outsourcing, shared services, and digital transformation

- Strong ownership and leadership traits

- Excellent written and oral presentation skills

- Client presence and relationship orientation

- Collaborative work style; strong interpersonal and team skills

- Bachelor's in Engineering / Tech; MBA preferred but the right experience takes precedence
