We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager who has a well-developed network in the dairy ecosystem. He will be responsible for engaging and pitching the value proposition to different segments, leading to revenue generation.

Responsibilities

1) A business development/sales pitch to dairy stakeholders about products and services.

- Build market and branding strategies.

2) Conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.)

3) Monitor the performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

4) Coordinate with existing and new customers to craft the implementation.

5) Develop, deploy, and monitor on-ground teams in clusters to initiate work with farmers and service providers.

6) Develop strategies for mapping all information of all animal husbandry resources in a cluster.

7) Understanding the requirements of existing customers is necessary to ensure their needs are being met.

8) Participate with the technology team to create an organized feedback channel.

9) Team management.

Basic Requirements

1) 8+ years of proven experience in revenue generation, business development, partnerships, and collaborations. (Prior experience in the dairy digital sector will be preferred.).

2) Demonstrate experience in formal project planning, management, and delivery, including needs assessment, priority setting, and action planning.

3) Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

4) Highly detailed oriented with a commitment to high-quality assurance of data

5) Evidence of a range of essential communication skills, e.g., presentations, public meetings, group facilitation, and group-based training.

6) Evidence of regular and in-depth continued use of computers to use the Internet and email systems in addition to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media platforms.

7) Ability to build, lead, and motivate large teams.

8) The ability to work on their initiative and to work unsupervised to achieve the aims, and objectives of a work plan.

Preferred Requirements

1) Degree in any Dairy, Agriculture, or Rural Management field.

2) A minimum of 10 years of experience working in the agri-/dairy market. Understanding.

3) Prior experience working in Business development of Digital products will be an advantage.
