About the role :

We are looking for an SEO expert with a proven track record of handling SEO for large sites with delivered KPIs & goals. They will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing SEO for our brand.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, implement, and manage SEO strategies that align with the company's business goals.

- Monitor and analyze website traffic, organic search performance, and overall SEO health.

- Use SEO industry tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Google Adwords, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GTMetrix, Site Speed Insights, etc. to pull insights and make strategy adjustments.

- Conduct technical audits to diagnose and resolve issues such as crawl errors, sitemap problems, duplicate content, and broken links.

- Work with the web development team to ensure website structures are search friendly.

- Conduct extensive keyword research using tools and methods to identify new avenues for growth. Continuously refine and expand target keywords list based on performance and trending data.

- Optimize website content, meta descriptions, headers, and tags for search engines.

- Collaborate with other marketing and content teams to develop content as per plans and ensure that produced content is optimized for search engines.

- Work with web designers and developers to ensure all website changes are SEO friendly.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and best practices.

- Develop and implement effective link-building strategies.

- Produce regular SEO performance reports. Present results, insights, and recommendations to senior management.

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- 3-5 years of experience in handling SEO for large/medium websites. Prior experience in handling SEO for multi region, multilingual sites is desired but not mandatory.

- Demonstrated proficiency in SEO techniques and strategies.

- Exceptional analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Above average skills in data interpretation and Excel.

- Ability to clearly communicate their views using data.

- Knowledge of analytics platforms/tools, programming languages is desired but not mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of technical elements of SEO. Working knowledge of HTML, javascript, understanding of how web technologies work etc.

- Self starter with an ability to resolve problems on the fly and able to devise alternate solutions when faced with roadblocks.

- Strong communication skills (written as well as verbal).

- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
